The Ski-Doo rear skid will bottom out during high compression or hard acceleration, forcing studs into the rear upper tunnel. The 98 XPTP protectors are designed to fit over the 1" and ½" wide OEM protector and are mounted by drilling 3 holes and adding 3 screws supplied with the kit. They add an extra ½" protection for a total of 1½" x 12" long. Made from UHMW plastic. Contains 2 pieces.
