Rage 3 Wide Spread Pin Primary Clutch 

Completely redesigned STM Rage 3WSP  Primary clutch features a wider, thicker, more durable spider with our new composite spider roller bushings for long life and quiet operation. The new design features a spread pin spider and can use our  "Hump Back" HB style cam arms, or any of our Supertip Cam Arms with the proper conversion pins.  This clutch is a drop in replacement clutch for the 6000 and 8000 series Arctic Cat sleds.  New designed fixed sheave can utilize the stock starter ring gear or damper ring. The primary can be used with the OEM Team secondary or the STM billet secondary, and the factory OEM belt. The clutch includes the shims for setting the proper belt deflection with the OEM secondary.

Included with the clutch is a new retaining bolt and washer, clutch puller to remove the STM clutch from the engine, a compression tool to change the weights or spring in the clutch without removing it from the engine, spider and belt shims for fine tuning your setup.

STM primary holding tool PN 1001649 primary clutch vice holding tool,  STM socket nut tool PN 1001072, and 3/6 arm spanner tool PN 1001020 are sold separately and are required to Break down the clutch to adjust shim setup or Rebuild the clutch.   

The Rage 3WSP utilizes the STM PS-style springs available on our website. The clutch will be shipped fully assembled if you choose the spider locked option. A BASELINE weight setup can be installed based on the specs of the machine the customer provides and if cam arms and a spring are purchased together.  It is the customers responsibility to ensure that the clutch is calibrated properly for their machine per the instructions provided. This clutch is designed to use the OEM belt #0627-111, aftermarket belts can also be used however most of the time an aftermarket belt will require a slightly different calibration for maximum performance/belt life. 

You will need either the OEM clutch puller or STM puller #1001345 to remove the stock clutch.
